Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Job Overview

As an RBT at Blossom ABA Therapy, you will be at the forefront of delivering evidence-based treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your role involves implementing these plans during in-home therapy sessions, directly engaging with children to help them learn new skills and reduce problematic behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Intervention: Implement ABA therapy programs as designed by the supervising BCBA.
Data Collection: Accurately record data on the child’s performance and behavior during therapy sessions.
Family Support: Work collaboratively with family members to ensure consistent implementation of therapeutic strategies.
Team Collaboration: Regularly communicate with the supervising BCBA and other team members to review client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans.
Professional Conduct: Adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
CPR and First Aid Certification.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus.
Reliable transportation as this position involves in-home therapy sessions.
