Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Job Overview

As an RBT at Blossom ABA Therapy, you will be at the forefront of delivering evidence-based treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your role involves implementing these plans during in-home therapy sessions, directly engaging with children to help them learn new skills and reduce problematic behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Intervention: Implement ABA therapy programs as designed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Data Collection: Accurately record data on the child’s performance and behavior during therapy sessions.
  • Family Support: Work collaboratively with family members to ensure consistent implementation of therapeutic strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Regularly communicate with the supervising BCBA and other team members to review client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Professional Conduct: Adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation as this position involves in-home therapy sessions.
