Most autism families know the routine: ABA at one clinic, OT at another, speech at a third. Three drives. Three intakes. Three teams that have never spoken to each other.
We don't do it that way.
At our Peachtree Corners clinic, occupational therapy is delivered alongside ABA and Speech Therapy. Same building, same team, same plan. Your child's BCBA, RBT, OT, and SLP see each other in the hallways every day. They coordinate goals. They reinforce each other's work. You get one cohesive plan instead of three disconnected ones.
That's why OT works faster here. Occupational therapy isn't about jobs. For kids, the "occupation" is being a kid: playing, learning, eating, dressing, exploring the world around them. When autism gets in the way of that, OT steps in. And when OT steps in alongside ABA and speech, instead of in a separate clinic across town, sensory wins translate into behavior wins, motor wins translate into communication wins, and the whole picture starts coming together.

Our occupational therapy services are designed for children with autism who are currently receiving (or beginning) center-based ABA at our Peachtree Corners clinic. OT can be especially helpful for kids who:
If any of this sounds like your child, an OT evaluation can give you real answers, and we can build it into their existing ABA schedule.

Sensory Regulation and Sensory Processing Support
For kids who get overwhelmed by sounds, textures, lights, or movement, and for kids who crave more input than the world gives them. We build a sensory plan that helps their nervous system find balance. Our therapy spaces include swings, weighted tools, tactile bins, and quiet corners. Regulation becomes a skill, not luck.
Fine Motor Skill Development
Grip strength. Pencil control. Cutting with scissors. Buttoning, zipping, threading. The tiny muscle work that schoolwork depends on. We strengthen what's weak and shape what's developing, through games and projects kids actually want to do.

Daily Living and Independence Skills
Brushing teeth. Putting on shoes. Using a fork. Pouring a drink. Self-care tasks build confidence in ways nothing else can. OT walks kids through them step by step until they can do them on their own.
Feeding Support
For children with food aversions, oral-motor delays, or strong sensory responses to texture and taste, our OT can support feeding goals in collaboration with you and your child's care team. We don't force foods. We rebuild the relationship with eating.

School Readiness and Classroom Support
Sitting at a desk. Following routines. Managing transitions. Holding a pencil. Functioning in a group. These are skills, and OT teaches them. By the time your child walks into a classroom, they've already practiced what's expected.
Parent Collaboration and Caregiver Involvement
You're not on the sidelines — you're on the team. Our OT meets with you regularly, sends home strategies that actually work, and makes sure you have the tools to support your child outside the clinic.

Built Right Into Our ABA Program
You know your child best. We follow your lead, share our progress openly, and give you tools you can actually use at home. Speech goals don't stay in the therapy room. They travel home with you.
Progress Speeds Up
A skill your OT introduces in the morning can be reinforced by your child's RBT in the afternoon. A sensory strategy from your OT can show up in your child's behavior plan the same week.
Your Week Gets Simpler
One drive. One set of intake forms. One contact for billing. One calendar to track. One parking lot.
Your Child Gets Consistency
Same faces. Same hallways. Same expectations from the adults around them. For kids on the autism spectrum, that kind of predictability isn't a perk — it's a foundation.
What Our Parent's Are Saying

Sofia Mendez, Norcross GA
Tuesday and Thursday mornings used to be the hardest part of our week. Now they're our daughter's favorite days. She gets in the car already talking about the toys she wants to play with and which therapist is going to be there. That shift alone changed our whole family's mood.

Patrick O'Brien, Johns Creek GA
The thing that stands out about Blossom is how seriously they take our input. We're never talked over, never rushed, never made to feel like just another family on the schedule. They listen, they adjust, and they treat us like real partners in our son's progress.
Tasha Brooks, Duluth GA
What we love most is that the progress doesn't stay at the clinic. The skills our son has built carry into the way he handles bedtime, mealtime, sibling time, even shopping trips. Real life feels more manageable now, and that's because the team taught him things that translate everywhere.

Henry Liu, Peachtree Corners GA
As parents, we feel supported here in a way we didn't expect. The team checks in with us, gives us strategies that actually fit our life at home, and never makes us feel guilty for the things we're still figuring out. We trust them completely.

Rebecca Goldstein, Berkeley Lake GA
Our daughter genuinely lights up at Blossom. The therapists know exactly how to draw her in, what challenges her, and when to back off. They see her, the full her, and you can feel that the moment you walk in. We couldn't ask for more.
Devon Kirby, Peachtree Corners GA
From the first phone call through every session since, this team has been thoughtful, organized, and honest. Insurance was handled smoothly, our questions were always answered, and our son's plan has evolved alongside him. After looking at several clinics in the area, we're so glad we chose this one.
