I absolutely recommend Blossom. From the first call to every visit, I can tell that the therapist and staff really care about their clients. My son loves his therapist, she is so patient and loving with him. I am appreciative of their in home visits because I can continue to work while my son receives his services. I definitely recommend Blossom ABA, due to fact I never had to question if this company actually cares for my child, they show it everyday!
I have truly enjoyed working with Hannah Hayes and Kelli Hooker- Hawkins. Hannah is a great BCBA that observes my daughter carefully and give the best advise on how to combat behavioral issues. Kelli is a great RBT with years of experience and truly loves the kids that she works with. I couldn’t ask for a better team.

My 5 year old daughter has high functioning autism and this company paired us with the most amazing people to work with. Her BCBA's name is Sarah and the RBT's name is Savanna. They have improved my daughter's behaviors significantly and I cannot recommend them enough. Ezra, who answers the phone and works with the parents, is absolutely amazing as well and communicates efficiently. My biggest issue I have had with ABA companies is poor communication and RBTs not showing up and/or calling out too frequently. That is NOT the case with this company. As many parents of autistic children know, when an RBT cancels a session last minute it creates unwanted behaviors for the child since the routine is disrupted and I have not had this issue with them.

My son has it been an ABA therapy for the past 6 months. He is autistic and let me tell you the difference that this therapy has made in his life and our lives is night and day. McKayla his therapist is an absolute saint. The most kindest, sweetest woman and patient that you can have or ever asked for. Ezra at ABA therapy has been nothing patient and kind and the ABA blossom ABA therapy has always been there for us. Forever grateful and honestly give them a five-star reason

Our 10 yr old son started ABA therapy with Blossom in May. Services are in-home and we work with his therapist. We have seen amazing progress! We have monthly parent training where we go over his goals, give feedback on therapist and discuss how we can better support his needs. We are very happy with Blossoms ABA and the therapists we have worked with.

Autism‑Friendly Places to Visit in North Carolina
Autism‑Friendly Places to Visit in North Carolina
Exploring North Carolina can be more enjoyable for families living with autism when you choose places that understand sensory needs, provide calm environments, and offer thoughtful support.
North Carolina Zoo — Asheboro, North Carolina
The North Carolina Zoo, located in Asheboro, is one of the largest natural-habitat zoos in the country. Spread across over 2,600 wooded acres, the zoo offers expansive walking paths, immersive wildlife habitats, and even tram rides to help cover the distance.
Why it's autism-friendly and inclusive for families: The zoo is Certified Sensory Inclusive, offering sensory bags (with noise-cancelling headphones and fidget toys) and “quiet zones” to retreat when needed. The calm, natural setting and spacious pathways create a more predictable and manageable experience, which is especially helpful for children who can become overwhelmed in crowded or highly stimulating places.
Discovery Place Science — Charlotte, North Carolina
Discovery Place Science is a hands-on science museum with interactive exhibits, live labs, an indoor rainforest, aquariums, and a state-of-the-art IMAX dome. Families can explore science in an engaging, tactile way that encourages curiosity. Located in Uptown Charlotte, NC, the museum is a hub of education and fun for children of all ages.
Why it's autism-friendly and inclusive for families: The museum hosts Sensory‑Friendly Hours (on certain Sundays), when the venue is quieter and less crowded. Sensory backpacks are available (with headphones and fidget items), and there's a “Comfort Station” where children can take breaks. The structured, exploratory nature of the museum — plus its variety of learning spaces — makes it easier for children to engage in science without being overwhelmed.
We Rock the Spectrum – Triad, North Carolina
We Rock the Spectrum – Triad is a sensory gym designed to support children of all abilities with specialized equipment like swings, soft play areas, and crash pads.
