Improving Communication Skills:
In ABA for autism, children learn to communicate their needs by starting with simple gestures or words. For example, a child might first use a picture card to request a snack, and over time, they may transition to saying, "I want a cookie," as they are positively reinforced for communicating effectively.

Building Focus and Attention:
What are the early signs of autism in infants?
Are stimming behaviors normal in young children?
Yes, many children engage in self-stimulatory actions—often called stimming behaviours—such as tapping, bouncing, or waving their hands. For children on the spectrum, stimming can be more frequent and may include hand flapping, spinning objects, or repeating sounds. While stimming itself isn’t harmful, it can be a helpful clue when observing early signs of autism in infants or toddlers.
