We verify first
Give us your Health First Colorado member ID and we'll confirm your CCHA assignment and exactly what your child's coverage includes before you commit to anything.
We submit the authorization
We know what CCHA needs, how they want it formatted, and who to follow up with when things go quiet. You don't track any of it.
We handle everything after
Reauthorizations, appeals, follow-up. If CCHA denies something, we explain the real reason and appeal with documentation that addresses what they actually need.
Your child's formal ASD diagnosis, the comprehensive BCBA assessment, and the individualized treatment plan. CCHA reviews against medical necessity criteria and issues an authorization. You prepare nothing.
CCHA member services is available at cchacares.com. Blossom ABA manages all contact with CCHA directly.
7 to 14 business days from a complete submission. We submit complete packages the first time and follow up proactively.
We track your child's authorization end date and initiate renewal before it expires. No gap in services.

Most active-duty families have TRICARE, not CCHA
TRICARE covers ABA for military dependents through the Autism Care Demonstration program, with its own authorization pathway entirely separate from CCHA.
When a family has both
National Guard, Reserve, or veterans' families may hold both TRICARE and Medicaid. Blossom ABA navigates the coordination between both payers at intake and routes authorization through the right channel from the start.
Not sure which applies?
It's the most common question we get from El Paso County families. Call us and we'll sort it out before anything else starts.
